Pardosh Vrat 2025 (Social media)
Spiritual News: Hinduism has a rich tradition of fasts and festivals, which not only provides religious faith but also the path of spiritual practice and self-purification. Pradosh Vrat has a special place among these fasts, which are dedicated to Lord Shiva. When this fast falls on Sunday, it is called Ravi Pradosh Vrat, and its religious significance increases manifold.
Pradosh Kaal, i.e., the time just before sunset, is the time when Lord Shiva is especially pleased with his devotees. It is believed that Shiva worship done at this time opens the door to health, happiness, and prosperity. Ravi Pradosh Vrat is considered very fruitful, especially for those who have been struggling with any disease, mental stress, or family crisis for a long time.
For the devotees who keep Pradosh fast regularly, the number of fasts is important. It is said in the scriptures that after completing at least 11 and a maximum of 26 fasts, the fasting person should do 'Udyapan.' This gives the full benefit of the fast, and Shiva's blessings remain on the family.
On the night of Ravi Pradosh fast, lighting a five-faced lamp at the main door is considered very auspicious. This lamp removes negative energy and maintains a positive atmosphere in the house. By doing this, disease, crisis, and misfortune are destroyed.
Chanting the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra 108 or 1008 times on this day gives relief from the difficult phase going on in life. This mantra not only removes diseases but also the fear of death and provides spiritual strength.
Ravi Pradosh Vrat is more than just a religious ritual; it is a spiritual practice that rejuvenates life with fresh energy, positivity, and inner stability. Whoever observes this fast with devotion and regularly definitely gets the blessings of Lord Shiva, and all the troubles of life go away automatically.
